Part time / On Call Position
Pay Based on Experience
Looking for a highly motivated and team focused individual.
Duties: The VSP will provide victim(s) and families with the orientation of victim rights, facility layout including emergency exits, entries, fire extinguishers, and any other requirements for personal safety, prohibited alcohol and drug use, health, and sanitary protocols. The VSP will provide victim(s) staying in the emergency shelter with daily hygiene needs items, sanitary supplies, towels, clothing, meals, snacks. All staff is required to exercise confidentiality and respect when providing victim services. Each VSP will be responsible for monitoring and recording daily progress. All documentation and victim-related activity will be filed in the victim case file. VSP staff will also be responsible for informing the victim of periodic facility room checks and monitoring to ensure safety, hygiene, and adequate sanitary conditions are in place. Activity logs will be reviewed by the program director regularly. The Victim Service provider will be responsible for coordinating meals and snacks for victims and families during the emergency shelter stay.
On site training will be provided. TVAT certification required.
